Announcing New Hours
Beginning on October 1, 2023, the bookstore will be open 10 am - 5 pm Monday - Friday and open 11 am - 4 pm every Saturday.
The Regent College Bookstore will have new hours beginning on October 1, 2023.
Before COVID-19 the Regent College Bookstore was open 9:30 am - 6 pm and every Saturday from 11 am - 4 pm. The global pandemic forced the bookstore to temporarily close for several months. Once COVID restrictions were lifted we were opened reduced hours, including only the first Saturday of every month due to low foot traffic in the store.Beginning on October 1, 2023, the Regent College Bookstore will be changing its hours. Currently the bookstore is open from 10 am to 6 pm Monday through Friday and open the first Saturday of the month as well as weekends when the bookstore hosts a Bible Saturday. Starting in October, the bookstore will be open from 10 am - 5 pm Monday through Friday and open 11 am - 4 pm every Saturday.
We believe that this change in opening hours will better serve the wider Christian community in Metro Vancouver. We are very grateful for our many loyal customers who visit us during the week but we also acknowledge that being open the first Saturday every month (plus Bible Saturdays) can make it confusing or inconvenient for those who wish to come shop at the bookstore on the weekend. By reducing our weekday hours and by being open every Saturday we believe we can better serve our customers who work during the day Monday - Friday and for those customers who live farther away.
We will continue to be open for book launches and evening public lectures during the spring and summer but we will be closed most long weekends. We hope to see you soon!
