Michael faithfully served in the Regent Bookstore for over 25 years.

It is with deep sadness that the Regent Bookstore shares the news of the passing of long-time and beloved Bookstore employee, Rev. Michael Collison.

Michael, born in 1950, hailed from near Brockville, ON, on the St. Lawrence River. His family had long-time Methodist roots in this area and it was in a United Church confirmation that Michael "felt his heart strangely warmed in the manner of John Wesley!" After university and seminary at Queen's University, Kingston, he was ordained in the United Church of Canada. He served in churches in North Bay, Niagara, New Zealand, and finally Mt. Lehman United where Michael served for more than twenty years!  In the 1990s Michael studied for a ThM at Regent and began work in the Regent Bookstore where he faithfully served for more than 25 years, passing on his extensive book knowledge to employees and customers alike. In addition, Michael was a first-class gourmet cook, a seasoned traveler, a listener and pastor. We miss you Michael! Our prayers and deep sympathies to his beloved wife, Christine.
